"It is only with the heart that one can see rightly, what is essential is invisible to the eye." - Antione de-Saint Exupery
Notes about the Imagery:
The photographic images within this site are captured moments in time. Moments where I was lucky enough to be holding a camera.
Older imagery on the sight is included as a historical reference. Those images were taken with 35mm and larger format film cameras by Yashica, Canon, Leica and Hasselblad. Film was processed and printed in a dark room.
The images I have digitized and manipulated via modern software were done so as to mimics techniques of a traditional darkroom. No images have been manipulated through any software to become something more or different than they were as originally shot.
Newer images were digitally captured with an assortment of cameras and lenses including Nikon, Olympus, and Leica. The images were minimally processed with Lightroom 4 software.
All photos are available for purchase. Prints are created by the photographer with an Epson 3880 printer on Epson archival quality paper. The finished products (16x20 and 20x24 framed) are matted and then framed with a subtle thin black frame by Neilsen Frame. Glass, available in either regular plate glass, non-glare plate glass, or museum quality non-reflective glass is priced accordingly.
